Blues to travel over 8,500 miles to away games next season
Blues will clock up more than 8,500 miles on the road next season to complete their League 2 fixture schedule.
Bradford City’s win against Northampton Town means the line-up for League 2 was completed on Saturday.
In terms of mileage, Blues will be thankful it was Phil Parkinson’s side who went up, as Northampton (200 mile round trip) will be one of just four journeys that are 100 miles or less.
The other three are AFC Wimbledon (105 mile round trip), Dagenham & Redbridge (60 mile round trip) and Wycombe Wanderers (165 mile round trip).
Blues will face five teams that will involve a 500 mile plus round trip (Accrington Stanley, Fleetwood Town, Hartlepool United, Morecambe and Plymouth Argyle).
Trips to Bury, Exeter City, Rochdale, Torquay United and York City will all be over 400 miles.
Blues will also venture into Wales next season to take on former player Justin Edinburgh’s Newport County which is a 384 mile round trip.
Below you will see a map with all the locations of the 24 teams in League 2 next season as well as a table detailing the distance to each of the other 23 sides.
Fixtures will be released on June 19th. Anyone for a Boxing Day trip to Hartlepool?
