Neil Harris wins award for his 'off the field' work with the Community
On Saturday at the final game of the 2012/13 season, the Community & Educational Trust named their Player of the Year.
The Player of the Year award was won by Neil Harris for his ‘off the field’ work with the Community department throughout the season.
Neil has attended a large number of community events and has gone above and beyond the call of duty.
Chief Executive of the Community & Educational Trust, Dale Spiby, said: “Neil has left a lasting impression with young people in our community this season and has been absolutely fantastic to work with.
“He’s a worthy winner of the award and we can only thank him for everything he has done for the people we try to reach out to this season.”
Neil added: “It’s great to have won the award and I really appreciate it.
“It’s always important as a player that you try to give something back to the community and that’s what I, and many of the lads, have tried to do this season.
“Hopefully we can all continue to work well with the Community department next season.”
