Mohsni keen to make an impact

1 March 2013

Bilel hopes to have role to play against Rotherham

Bilel Mohsni is hopeful he can make an instant impact on his return from suspension against Rotherham United on Saturday.

Mohsni returned to Blues two weeks ago but was sent off just 27 minutes in to his return against Northampton Town.

The Frenchman is now determined to show supporters just what he can do against Steve Evans’ side on Saturday.

“I was very, very disappointed after the game against Northampton because it was just a bad tackle, not anything to do with my temper,” he said.

“It was very frustrating for me and I was disappointed because the manager had asked me to come back to help and then I was suspended for three games.

“I have been training with the team since then and working hard to make sure I am as fit as I can be.

“I don’t think I am match-fit at the moment because I haven’t played much at all this season, but I think it will take about four matches.

“Hopefully I can be back in the team on Saturday or on the bench and help the team get three points.

“Rotherham are a very good side and will want to continue their good form, but we are at home and we need to win too.

“I think it will be a very good game. I’m really looking forward to being able to play again and hopefully I can make a difference on Saturday.”
