Midfielder extends his loan deal with Blues until the end of the season

The Club are delighted to confirm that Matthew Lund has extended his loan spell from Stoke City until the end of the season.

The midfielder, who scored on his debut for the Club against Northampton, has made eight appearances so far for Blues.

The 22-year-old will be available to play in this evening’s game against Plymouth Argyle.

He will also be available for the play-offs should Blues be involved in them.

Manager Paul Sturrock said: “Matt has done very well for us since he came in on loan in February.

“He has looked very assured in the midfield and has a very important part to play for us in the remainder of the season.

“We’re delighted he has opted to stay with us.”

Matt said: “I’ve really enjoyed my time at the Club so far so I am pleased to be staying here for longer.

“The lads have been excellent and there’s some big games coming up. Hopefully I can play a helping hand in pushing us back into the play-off places.”
