Get the party started against Fleetwood

30 March 2013

Let's get the Wembley party started against Fleetwood on Monday

We’re asking Blues fans to help start the Wembley party at our home game against Fleetwood Town on Monday 1st April – the final game before we face Crewe Alexandra in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy final.

It will also be new manager Phil Brown’s first home game in charge, so make sure you’re here to welcome him to Roots Hall.
We have now sold over 28,000 tickets for the big game at Wembley.  Fans have been instrumental in helping get the attendance to record levels and we want you to get as many of those people attending Wembley along to the last home game before the big day and help everyone get into the party spirit.

To try and make things easier, we’re offering under-16’s the chance to come and cheer on Blues for just £1.
The game will kick-start the countdown to the final on Sunday 7th, kick-off 1:15pm, so it would be great for you all to play your part.
Blues’ home form has suffered a bit of late, but with your support against play-off hopefuls Fleetwood it would help the team massively as they look to win the final game before facing Crewe.
Chief executive Steve Kavanagh: “We understand that with the cost of Wembley and renewal of Season Cards all coming so close together money may be a little bit tight.
“But it would be fantastic to see as many of the 27,000 as possible at the game against Fleetwood to hopefully see the team sign off in the perfect way before the big day at Wembley.
“We hope by reducing the cost of under-16’s to just £1 many more fans will be able to come to Roots Hall on Bank Holiday Monday.”
