More information regarding Blues' tour of Madrid next week
The Blues first team squad jet off to the Spanish capital on Monday 22nd July for three nights.
Arriving late-morning on Monday, the Blues will be based at Ciudad del Futbol, which serves as the headquarters for the Royal Spanish Football Federation and is regularly used by the World and European Champions national side.
Occupying 12 hectares the site boasts five football pitches, an indoor arena and a social and training area.
The complex is located on the outskirts of Madrid in the munipality of Las Rozas.
Blues will train in Madrid for the first time on Monday evening, with another session on the Tuesday.
Visits to the Bernabeu Stadium and a tour of Madrid have also been arranged.
Please note our training complex is unfortunately not accessible to the general public.
Real Madrid C - 24/07/2013
Phil Brown’s side will take on Real Madrid C on Wednesday, 24th July (10:30am CEST/9:30am BST) at the Los Blancos training complex Ciudad Real Madrid.
Valdebebas, as the locals know it, has 13 full size pitches including the Alfredo di Stéfano Stadium, a 6,000 seater mini stadium.
Real Madrid C is the second reserve side of the La Ligue team and consists mainly of second year professionals and youth players.
They play in Spain’s Segunda División B, the third tier of the league system.
Notable former players to have represented the C team include Raúl, Rafael Benítez and Guti.
Entrance fee for this match is €5 with tickets available from Valdebebas front gate. Depending on the size of the crowd, they may not charge, but please come prepared.
