Laird back in Blues' only change

12 January 2013

Marc Laird replaced Anthony Straker for Exeter game

Marc Laird came into Blues' starting XI in place of Anthony Straker as Paul Sturrock made one change from the side that started at Oxford in midweek.

Laird was cup-tied for that game but was back for the visit to Exeter in the heart of the midfield alongside Alex Woodyard.

The change meant Michael Timlin moved back out to the left side of midfield.

Paul Smith kept his place between the sticks despite Daniel Bentley's penalty heroics, while the back four and front two remained the same.

Neil Harris was back among the substitutes.

Blues: Smith; Clohessy, Barker, Cresswell, Phillips; Hurst, Laird, Timlin, Woodyard; Corr, Tomlin. Subs: Benyon, Bentley, Leonard, Martin, Straker, Harris and Prosser.
