Kevan Hurst has come out on top in the November Goal of the Month competition.
His strike against York City, that helped seal a 2-1 win, has been voted by fans as our best goal from the month.
It is the second time that Hurst has won the award this season, having seen his goal against Bristol Rovers in September also come out on top.
Hurst’s sixth minute strike was one of four goals the midfielder got in November, and he’s now on seven for the season.
Freddy Eastwood won the award in August for his goal against Northampton Town while Ben Coker’s goal against Newport County won him the competition in October.
One fan was picked at random from all the votes cast for Hurst’s goal against York to win a signed Southend United football.
The winning fan was Dan Fairless.
Congratulations to both Kevan and Dan.
