Important information on 2013/14 Season Cards
The Club would like to give supporters a further update on the progress of 2013/14 Season Cards ahead of the new season.
On Wednesday the process of sending out all Season Cards for this season was completed and you should have received your card by today. We apologise for the lateness of this, but due to unexpected issues with the ticketing system upgrade we were not able to start the production of Season Cards until the very end of last week and the process of printing and sending out nearly 3,000 is logistically complicated. Additional staff were brought in to expedite the process and everyone has worked extremely hard to get the cards out as quickly as possible.
On behalf of our Ticketing partner, & all within the Club, we would like to apologise for the confusion & inconvenience. We fully appreciate how tolerant you have all been, & I can assure you that both parties have worked together on resolving the significant problems.
A major upgrade took place over the summer which was initially delayed and then we identified unforeseen issues with the system. These have unfortunately taken us time to fix. We are aware this has delayed the club being able to send out their season tickets and created logistical issues that would not ordinarily exist.
Again, we are very sorry for this, but we can assure you that both parties have been working extremely hard to resolve these matters. We are pleased to confirm that these issues have now been resolved.
It is important that supporters are aware that last season’s cards will NOT work on Saturday and you must use your new white Season Card.
If you have not received your new card yet, please come to the main ticket office on Saturday and we will issue you with a new one. If this is required we apologise but we ask that you arrive in plenty of time to try and avoid any delays or queues that will start to build on normal ticket sales after 1.30pm.
The reprinted card will be your card for the season and if the one we have posted out does arrive, please make sure it is destroyed so it doesn’t cause any disruption throughout the season, as the original card will not work if you bring it accidentally to future games.
Please also note that any one who is yet to collect their cards and is planning to on matchday they must collect from the North-east Collection Window and not the main ticket office.
