Defender hoping Blues can respond with their fourth clean sheet of the season after defeat last weekend.
Ben Coker wants Blues to bounce back from defeat last weekend with a clean sheet against Wycombe on Saturday.
After three clean sheets in a row in League 2, Blues were undone twice from set pieces against Chesterfield last weekend.
The defender, who has started all four of Blues’ league games so far, is determined to respond with a fourth clean sheet of the season at Adams Park.
He said: “As a defender you’re always wanting to keep clean sheets. We did really well during the first three games but we always knew that we would eventually concede a goal.
“I think the response to that though last weekend was brilliant, I think the manager was really pleased with how we came back after conceding what was our first league goal of the season.
“It’d be nice if we could keep a clean sheet against Wycombe because it’ll mean we’ve not lost the game. We’ve had a good week training so we’re going into the game full of confidence and in good spirit.”
Ben is expecting quite a fast and frantic game at Adams Park after both teams conceded late goals that cost Blues a point and Wycombe two.
He said: “They will have been disappointed to concede a goal so late; it would’ve been a great three points for them at Oxford.
“Having both dropped points late on it’ll probably be quite a fast and frantic game. They are a good side and it’ll be a tough game.
“If we pass it around like we did on Saturday and try to play the right way then I’m sure we can get the three points.
“They usually have quite a lot of fans at home but I’m sure we’ll travel in good numbers to the game and hopefully we can come away happy this time around.”
