Defender says Blues must learn from defeat at Wembley
Defender Luke Prosser has called for Blues to learn from the experience of losing in the JPT Final to Crewe Alexandra.
Prosser returned from injury to partner Ryan Cresswell at the heart of defence, but was unable to help Blues to victory as Crewe came out 2-0 winners.
The defender though says everyone in the squad must learn from the experience and do their best to be back at Wembley in May.
He said: "Today was a big day out and unfortunately we were not able to win the game as we had hoped.
"Crewe played well but we gave away two sloppy goals that really cost us. There's never a good time to concede but we conceded at two bad times really right at the start of both halves.
"We have to learn from this as a group and as individuals because we're back in action again on Wednesday night.
"There's a lot of young lads in this squad but we must take this in our stride, put it in the past and focus on the next game.
"We didn't get the breaks of the ball we sometimes needed in and around the penalty area and that was frustrating.
"We're all gutted. It's as simple as that. But as I've said we must take this all on board, learn from it and bounce back against Rochdale.
"We've got five Cup finals between now and the end of the season. We produce in all five and who knows? Maybe we'll be coming back here in May."
