From the Dugout:
Paul Sturrock: “Gillingham have made a great start to the season. Martin Allen has obviously got them ticking as they haven’t lost in the league yet. We’re unbeaten in our last five and it’s important that we try to make that six.”
Martin Allen: “I’ve told the players in the changing room that they are going to have to play better. They have to pass it quicker and get it moving around the pitch on Tuesday when we play Southend because they are a good team and this is the sort of game where we have to put down a good performance.”
