Southend United are expected to include five players in their starting line-up with first team experience for Tuesday’s Essex Senior Cup clash.
A Blues reserve side will host Burnham Ramblers at Roots Hall tomorrow evening in the third round of the competition.
Set to face the Essex Senior League outfit are likely to be five players who have featured for Paul Sturrock’s first team this season.
Daniel Bentley, Mark Phillips, John Spicer, David Martin and Elliot Benyon are all likely to be selected.
Meanwhile, striker Barry Corr should be named on the substitutes bench.
The Irishman made a cameo appearance on Saturday in the 0-0 draw with York City, coming on for the final 15 minutes.
That followed a groin problem and the experienced striker is due to be given at least half an hour of action tomorrow.
Kick-off at Roots Hall is 7.45pm with admission £2 for adults and £1 for concessions with only the East Green and Black seats open.
