Southend United are bidding for their first home win ever against Burton Albion tonight.
The Blues have failed to beat the Brewers in their previous two meetings at Roots Hall.
Burton meanwhile are in search of their first win in four matches following three consecutive draws.
Striker Barry Corr starts the first of a three match suspension following his read card against Plymouth Argyle at the weekend.
Paul Smith (neck), Mark Phillips (groin), Gavin Tomlin (groin) and Neil Harris (knee) are all rated as doubtful.
Burton Albion could be without striker Calvin Zola, who is being troubled by a slight hamstring strain.
Former Blues forward Matt Paterson who was released by the Club at the end of last season could replace him.
From the Dugout:
Paul Sturrock: “They are one of the best teams in the division and much stronger than last year. It is going to be a tight match as they have some exciting players forward players. If we play like we did in the first half Saturday then it is going to be even more difficult.
Gary Rowett: “We go down there on the back of a really good run but at the same time we appreciate that it is going to be another good test against a Southend side that are obviously very strong. If you look at them this season they have picked up and really kicked on of late. Its a journey down there but we will learn a lot more about the character of this squad after this game.”
