Southend United boss Paul Sturrock has said he only wants players at the club who are committed.
Midfielder Ryan Hall is currently training away from the club after failing to secure a move away from Roots Hall.
And Sturrock said the decision to keep him away from the rest of the squad was his due to Hall's lack of commitment.
“What Ryan Hall has been saying isn’t correct,” Sturrock told the official website.
“I only want committed football players at this football club.
“Ryan has made it very clear to me that he isn’t committed so that is why I don’t want him to be here.
“He’s made it very clear that he wishes to leave so do I really want players around the place that will go through the motions counting down the days until they can move?
“You could see Tuesday night that every player on that pitch was giving everything for Southend United and that is what I demand from my players.
“A committed Ryan Hall would be an asset but he’s not that at the moment.
“If he was to comeback and with a different attitude then I would reconsider my position but I can’t see that being the case at the moment.
“The same applies to Bilel Mohsni who has also stated that he doesn’t wish to play for Southend United again.”
