1500 reasons to attend Stockport

To celebrate the 1,500th match at Roots Hall on Saturday we will be offering one lucky fan the chance to experience the game from the directors’ box.

Saturday’s match against Stockport County will be the 1,500th League and Cup match to be played at Roots Hall.

Of the 1,499 matches played so far 754 have resulted in Southend wins, 376 have been drawn and 369 are defeats.

In total there have been 110 goalless draws and the average attendance over those matches has been 6,380.

As a resulted the 1,500th fan through the turnstile on Saturday will be invited, along with their guest, to watch Blues historic FA Cup first round match from the comfort of the directors box as well enjoy pre-match drinks in the Platinum Suite.

A gate of around 2,500 is expected but to be in with a chance of winning you need to purchase a ticket from the Blues Box Office to the match.

Season Card Holders only have until 5pm today to claim their discount for Saturday’s FA Cup first round clash against Stockport County.

If you haven’t purchased your match ticket so far then don’t delay as we have held the discounted Season Card Holder prices of £5 adult, £3 concession and £1 for under 16’s until 5pm tonight.

Matchday prices will be £10 adult, £5 concession and £2 for under 16’s.
