Striker Gavin Tomlin has agreed a move to Southend United today.The ex-Gillingham forward has signed a one-year contract at Roots Hall ahead of the new season.
He becomes the third new player to arrive this summer with Kevan Hurst and Anthony Straker having already put pen to paper on deals.
Tomlin scored six goals from nine starts at the Gills, including one in Southend's 2-1 win at the Priestfield Stadium live on Sky Sports, whilst on loan from Dagenham and Redbridge.
The 29-year-old also had spells with Brentford, Yeovil Town and Torquay United.
