Goalkeeper Daniel Bentley is set to start against Stambridge United tonight in Southend United's second pre-season friendly.Keeper Bentley was an unused sub against West Ham United at the weekend with manager Paul Sturrock keen to see trialists Phil Smith and Rhys Taylor in action.
But the 19-year-old will start at the Essex Olympian League outfits home ground tonight.
He will be joined by trialist Yoann Folly who featured in the second half in the 3-0 defeat on Saturday.
The former Sheffield Wednesday player should partner Alex Woodyard in the centre of midfield.
He will be joined by two new trialists along with a number of the Blues under 18's squad.
Kick-off at Stambridge Memorial Hall is at 7.30pm with entrance £6 for adults and £4 for concessions.
