Two vacancies at Southend United

The Club are delighted to be able to offer the opportunity for two young, hardworking and innovative people to join the Commercial Department here at Southend United.

The Customer Service Apprenticeships will see the applicants work closely with both the Commercial and Ticket Office departments to improve certain aspects and help drive them both forward.

JOB DESCRIPTION

POST TITLE: Customer Service Apprenticeship x 2 positions

DEPARTMENT: Commercial

RESPONSIBLE TO: Commercial Sales Executive/ Ticket Office Manager

MAIN PURPOSE: Provide excellent customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Communication and Working Relationships
1.1 Provide excellent customer service to all external and internal customers.
1.2 Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure efficient customer service.
1.3 Welcome customers promptly and warmly and answer telephone queries

2. Planning and Organisation
2.1 Arrive in good time and be well prepared for the days work
2.2 Be aware of current promotions and targets to be able to promote at all
opportunities.
2.3 Work flexibly to meet the needs of the business.

3. Administration
3.1 Maintain records as required.
3.2 Be aware of and adhere to Standard Operation Procedures at all times. 
3.3 Carry out daily cleaning duties

4. Finance and Resources
4.1 Use Electronic Point of Sale system, handle cash and card transactions if required.
4.2 Report low supplies to colleagues.
4.3 Where required, cash up following set procedures.
4.4 Provide excellent customer service to maximise sales.

5. Supervision and Leadership
5.1 Ensure a high level of personal customer service in all dealings. 
5.2 Promote a customer focused culture by example, providing a professional, friendly and courteous service to all customers.
5.3 Promote a safe, healthy and environmentally secure environment, adhere to all statutory requirements.
5.4 Act as an ambassador for Southend Utd Football Club.

6. Policy and Research
6.1 Be aware of Southend Utd’s activities to be able to discuss them competently with customers.

7. General
7.1 Promote anti-discriminatory practices in all work undertaken.
7.2 Have an understanding of the work and aims of Southend Utd.
7.3 Undertake training and development relevant to the role.
7.4 Any other duties commensurate with the level of the post.
