Striker has 14 goals so far this season
Striker Gavin Tomlin believes he is in the best form of his life, having scored another brace against Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday.
Tomlin grabbed two goals inside the opening 15 minutes to give Blues a 2-0 lead, before teeing up Kevan Hurst for the third goal in the second half.
Gavin, speaking after the game, said: "Yeah, it's definitely the best form of my life. I seem to be getting in the right places and scoring goals.
"In the past when I've gone through on goal like I did for the first today I might have looked to pass it, but I just seem to have that confidence.
"This is the best goalscoring run I've been on in my career, I keep telling myself it will go on and that I will keep scoring.
"Before I go out on the pitch I do certain things and at the moment it's coming off."
Tomlin also reserved praise for young strike partner Britt Assombalonga who, despite not scoring, put in another excellent performance.
Gavin said: "You can see he's learning all the time and that he's getting better and better every game.
"Look at what he did for the first goal. It was an excellent touch and then a brilliant one-two with Marc Laird.
"He hasn't been scoring in the last few games but what he does other than that is absolutely brilliant.
"We seem to be working very well together and hopefully that can continue."
