Four changes for Blues against Brentford

4 December 2012

Barry Corr and Luke Prosser handed starts in the JPT

Blues boss Paul Sturrock made four changes to the side that drew 1-1 with Bury at the weekend for the visit of Brentford in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Barry Corr, Luke Prosser, Britt Assombalonga and Tamika Mkandawire came in for Freddy Eastwood, Mark Phillips, Gavin Tomlin and Marc Laird.

Laird was absent due to the fact he was cup-tied while Tomlin and Mark Phillips both failed fitness tests. John Spicer missed out through illness.

That meant Corr partnered Assombalonga in attack with Prosser slotting in alongside Ryan Cresswell.

Blues: Smith; Clohessy, Cresswell, Prosser, Barker; Hurst, Martin, Mkandawire, Timlin; Assombalonga, Corr. Subs: Straker, Eastwood, Bently, Benyon, Woodyard.

Brentford: Moore; Barron, Dean, Saunders, Hodson, Forrester, Diagouraga, Reeves, Hayes, Bidwell, Kiernan. Subs: Dallas, Oyeleke, German, Pierre, Legge.
