Midfielder Michael Timlin faces a one-match suspension following his red card at Oxford United on Tuesday night.
Timlin, playing only his second game following a lengthy injury lay-off, received his marching orders from referee Oliver Langford following his second bookable offence at the Kassam Stadium. The ex-Fulham trainee was booked in the 22nd minute for a foul on Oxford’s Damian Batt before seeing red five minutes later after being adjudged to have clipped Jake Forster-Caskey.
And now the 27-year-old will miss Saturday’s trip to Northampton Town’s Sixfields Stadium as he serves his one game ban.
