Fairfield BMW Sponsorship Case Study

We became a main Sponsor of the club in early 2016, driven by Fairfield’s marketing policy of “local support first”. My goal was to increase awareness whilst supporting the town’s club, such an important part of any community.

Dealing with Danny Macklin and the team couldn’t have been easier or more enjoyable. The deal was not only efficiently presented with passion and enthusiasm for what the club was trying to achieve in the longer term, but it was clearly demonstrated with accurate financials, just what we as a business could benefit from.

A year later and not only has the deal delivered on what was promised, but has exceeded my expectations in every department.

The fanbase at SUFC are passionate about their club and just recently we sold a MINI to a fan who said he bought a car from us “because we supported HIS Club” and this is just one of many cars sold as a direct result of this partnership.

Overall this has been without question, the most beneficial marketing spend I’ve carried out in terms of awareness, community support through interaction with local schools, customer engagement and staff satisfaction. The sale of cars has been a bonus to be honest!!

I would absolutely recommend any business to look at the possibilities of a partnership with SUFC on whatever scale. You will get a dynamic team from the club who drive the initiatives and get things done…
