Southend United's under 18 match against Leyton Orient on Saturday has been cancelled.

The Blues youngsters, currently top of the Puma Youth Alliance, were due to face their East London rivals tomorrow.

However, with the O's involved in FA Youth Cup action on Monday the game has been postponed at their request.

A new date is yet to be confirmed but will be advised on southendunited.co.uk as soon as it is known.

Meanwhile, Blues youngsters are in FA Youth Cup action themselves on Wednesday, November 5.

Ricky Duncan's sides first round match against Brentford kicks-off at 7pm with entry £3 for adults and £1 for concessions.
