Southend United is leading the way in ticketing by offering supporters the ability to have their match ticket on their mobile phone. The Club is currently the only football club in the UK who offers this.

By having your match ticket on your phone you limit the chance of you loosing your ticket before the match and with dedicated turnstiles scattered around it is one of the easiest ways to experience football at Roots Hall.

Not only that, in order to get as many people using it as possible, anyone purchasing a mobile ticket for a game will have their booking fee knocked off the price, making it also the cheapest way to watch football at Roots Hall.

Tickets-by-Text are available for all home games at Roots Hall and can be purchased by contacting the Blues Box Office on 08444 77 00 77.

How does Tickets-by-Text work?

Purchasing Tickets-by-Text is done in exactly the same way as purchasing a normal matchday ticket.

Once purchased your ticket will be sent to your phone as a barcode within a regular SMS and when you arrive at the game, simply hover the barcode over one of the designated ticket readers to gain entry.

If you are buying for more than one person you can either have the ticket sent directly to their phone or to yours as a second text barcode.
