The Sun and Southend United are giving fans the chance to get closer to the action and get behind their team as the 'Footie with a Friend' promotion returns, giving fans another chance to save on standard ticket prices.
Yet again this season, The Sun carries more coverage of League football than any other newspaper, including regular opinion and analysis from all-round football expert Chris Kamara, match reports, pictures, quotes and ratings on every single match.
The paper's latest deal launches on Saturday, January 28 and will bring readers even closer to the action by offering bargain footie tickets to Southend United fans for the following matches:
Saturday, 18th February vs. Crewe Alexandra
Saturday, 10th March vs. Accrington Stanley
Readers just have to collect four differently numbered tokens printed in The Sun from Saturday, January 28 to Monday, February 6 to claim their two tickets for £19.50 to either of the above matches.
The offer gives fans access to 87 matches from February 4 until April 14, 2012 involving 59 npower Championship, League 1 and League 2 clubs and has over 100,000 tickets available.
"This offer is a fantastic opportunity for Blues fans to attend two of our games with a friend for a fantastic price," said Southend United manager Paul Sturrock. "With things really hotting up at the top of the table there has never been a better opportunity to come and support the side."
Sun columnist and League football expert Chris Kamara said:
"The day of your first football match always lives long in the memory, so The Sun has teamed up with The Football League to offer tickets from £9.50 to your local club! Even if it is not your first match, it's a brilliant offer, so collect your tokens now!"
Full details of the promotion will be available in the Saturday January 28 edition of The Sun.
