SWINDON TICKETS FOR FREE

Southend United have teamed up with First Essex Buses to offer under 16's the chance to watch the Blues for free.

Local bus company, First Essex, have agreed to pay for the first 1,500 children's tickets for the Blues against Swindon Town on Saturday, October 18.

Blues Director of Commercial Services Garry Adamson said: "We are delighted that First has taken the chance to sponsor such a fantastic initiative.

"Our strategy is to continually grow our young support base within Blues Country and this gesture helps us to continue to do that.

"Like us, First is a major local community company and together we hope we can put something back."

Bob Dorr, Managing Director of First Essex added: "We are delighted to work with Southend United on such a worthwhile initiative and we sincerely hope that we can help the Blues win some new fans of the future with our support".

Tickets will be available to the first 1,500 bookers from the Blues Box Office.

All under 16's tickets must be bought with an adult ticket (ratio of no more than 1 adult to 4 children).
