Southend's pre-season schedule is starting to warm-up away from home, and there is only just over a week until the Blues return to action at Roots Hall.

Blues have kicked off their schedule with two wins against Witham Town and Great Wakering Rovers.

The Club have secured two fantastic high profile matches this season on home soil, against West Ham United and Vitesse Arnhem.

The Hammers visit Roots Hall on Saturday, July 28 as the closing event for the Club's Centenary celebrations.

Dutch Eredivisie outfit Vitesse Arnhem will then play Steve Tilson's side four days later on Wednesday, August 1.

Tickets are now on sale for both of these matches from the Blues Box Office.

Adult tickets are for the West Ham match are priced at £20 with concessions £10 whilst the Arnhem friendly is £10 and £5 respectively.
