GRANT SET FOR RESERVES
Midfielder Anthony Grant will play 60 minutes for Southend United's reserve side against Norwich City today at Roots Hall.
Grant has been missing since the end of January with an ankle injury.
He played 45 minutes last week against Watford's second string and the former Chelsea trainee is set to step up his return against Norwich City this afternoon.
Blues first teams midfield options are limited with Jean-Francois Christophe and Alan McCormack both suspended ahead of this weekend.
Meanwhile, trialist Grant Kerr gets a second run-out following his appearance against the Hornets.
Craig Calver is named amongst the substitutes after returning from a loan spell with Braintree Town.
Kick-off is at 2pm and a full report will appear on southendunited.co.uk after the full-time whistle.
Southend: Kelvin Jack, Adetayo Osifuwa, Osei Sankofa, Callum Whittaker, Johnny Herd, Julian Okai, Grant Kerr, Anthony Grant, Marcus Milner, Scott Spencer, Harry Crawford.
Subs: Jamie Dennis, Daniel Bentley, Justin Hazell, Craig Calver.
