TWO CHANGES FOR JPT

Southend United boss Paul Sturrock has made two changes to his side for tonight's Johnstone's Paint Trophy match against Gillingham.

Goalkeeper Rhys Evans has been given his first Blues start in place on Glenn Morris whilst midfielder Adam Bouzid is drafted in for the suspended Sean Clohessy.

Bouzid will play on the right wing on his Blues debut whilst Josh Simpson has been pushed back to right-back as cover for Clohessy.

Meanwhile, Chris Barker will make his first start after agreeing to make his loan move permanent today.

Southend: Rhys Evans, Peter Gilbert, Josh Simpson, Bilel Mohsni, Anthony Grant, Craig Easton, Barry Corr, Ryan Hall, Adam Bouzid, Blair Sturrock, Chris Barker.

Subs: Glenn Morris, Graham Coughlan, Matt Paterson, Sofiene, Zaaboub.

Gillingham: Lance Cronin, Barry Fuller, John Nutter, Kevin Maher, Mark McCammon, Cody McDonald, Luke Rooney, Josh Gowling, Danny Spiller, Jack Payne, Tony Sinclair.
