Southend United only have one injury doubt ahead Saturday's away match against Aldershot Town.

Left-back Peter Gilbert is missing with an ankle injury picked up in pre-season against Derby County.

The former Northampton Town defender is expected to feature for the Blues reserve side against Oxford United next week.

Meanwhile, fellow defender Sean Clohessy is available after sitting out United's midweek Carling Cup win against Bristol City.

Clohessy was rested as a precaution with a groin problem for the 3-2 victory but is expected to be fit for tomorrows match.

Boss Paul Sturrock also hopes to get international clearance from Bilel Mohsni and Adam Bouzid in time for Saturday.

The Club has been waiting for a week to receive the relevant paperwork from the French Football Federation and Moroccan FA to complete their moves to Roots Hall.
