Southend United boss Paul Sturrock only has two players unavailable for Saturday's League Two opener against Stockport County.

Winger Ryan Hall is unavailable through suspension having been red carded last season whilst with Bromley.

That means Hall is forced to serve a one match suspension against the Hatters.

Meanwhile, Blues only injury worry is to left-back Peter Gilbert.

Gilbert is currently struggling with an ankle problem sustained against Derby County in pre-season.

And the former Northampton full-back will miss the first few weeks of the season.
