Goalkeeper Kelvin Jack has left Southend United following his short stay at Roots Hall.

The keeper joined Blues on a non-contract basis towards the end of the season following Ian Joyce's return to America.

Jack, a former Trinidad and Tobago international, signed as cover for first choice Steve Mildenhall.

But he suffered a hamstring injury during his short stay and has now been released.
