NO FRESH INJURIES

Posted on: Fri 07 May 2010

Southend United boss Steve Tilson has no fresh injury concerns ahead of Saturday's final Coca-Cola League One match of the season.

Blues travel to Southampton as the curtain comes down on a season that has ended in relegation.

And as United round off a disappointing season Tilson will once again be without five players through injury.

Adam Barrett, Francis Laurent and Jean-Francois Christophe all continue to carry hamstring injuries.

Meanwhile, Scott Spencer (ankle) and Damian Scannell (foot) are also ruled out.

That means that Tilson looks set to continue with 18-year-old striker Harry Crawford in attack against the Saints.

Crawford made his full debut last weekend against Stockport County and scored in the 2-1 triumph.

He could be partnered by former Southampton forward Matt Paterson who impressed as a substitute also against the Hatters.
