Southend United boss Steve Tilson has confirmed that Adam Barrett, Jean-Francois Christophe and Francis Laurent will not feature against Stockport County on Saturday.

The trio are currently struggling with hamstring injuries and went off injured last weekend in Blues 2-2 draw against Oldham Athletic.

And Tilson confirmed today that the trio may not feature again this season due to the problems.

"They all definitely won't play this weekend," Tilson told southendunited.co.uk.

"I think it is probably unlikely that they will figure again this season with these injuries but we will have to wait and see."

United are also without Scott Spencer (ankle) and Damian Scannell (foot) for Saturday's match, whilst left-back Scott Malone has returned to Wolverhampton Wanderers after he was recalled from his loan spell today.
