Striker Scott Spencer could be out for 2-4 weeks after spraining his ankle against Gillingham on Monday.
Spencer was substituted after 65 minutes during the 3-0 defeat with the problem.
And the former Everton trainee looks set to miss at least the next fortnight with the injury.
"Scott went over on his ankle in the second half on Saturday," said physio John Stannard.
"There's no fracture but we sent him for a scan today and we've put him in a protective boot.
"We will know more once we get those results back but he could be out for anything between two to four weeks."
Meanwhile, Stannard also confirmed that midfielder Alan McCormack has sprained his foot.
McCormack sat out Monday's defeat at Gillingham after picking up the problem against Yeovil Town.
And Stannard admitted he will know in the next 48 hours if McCormack will be fit for Blues match at Leeds United.
"Macca's in an air cast boot as well to help his injury heal," he said. "Its already looking better today but at the moment it is too early to say if he will be fit for the weekend."
