Southend United have made two changes to the line-up for today's League One encounter at Gillingham.

Alan McCormack has been ruled out through injury, which means Francis Laurent takes his place in midfield, while Osei Sankofa will also come into the starting XI in place of Scott Malone.

With Sankofa starting at right-back, it means that Simon Francis will push forward down the right wing and Laurent playing down the left flank.
