GRANT'S UNWANTED RECORD

Posted on: Tue 30 Mar 2010

Southend United midfielder Anthony Grant has an unwanted record following his own goal against Bristol Rovers.

The former Chelsea trainee unfortunately turned the ball into his own net against Rovers at the weekend.

It meant Blues finished on the end of a 4-3 defeat having lead 2-0 at one point.

But it also took his own goal tally to four during his Southend career, with two of those against Bristol Rovers this season.

And that means he overtakes Paul Clark and Shane Westley in the OG stakes.

His four own goals came against Bristol Rovers (2), Walsall and Hartlepool United.
