Having found the goals to match the performance in the victory at home to Walsall, Steve Tilson is now looking for Southend United to build on their three-game unbeaten run at Bristol Rovers this Saturday.
With just nine games left of the League One campaign, Tilson is targeting 50 points as the safety mark for survival and having finally won for the first time this year on Tuesday night, he admitted that there is plenty of belief in the side to achieve that.
"It was another good performance on Tuesday night, but scoring the goals to get the result was the icing on the cake," Steve told Blues Player.
"I thought it was a comfortable 3-0 win in the end and we could have won by four or five goals.
"We have been looking for Franck Moussa to get into goalscoring positions and he did that more on Tuesday to score twice and could have had a couple more goals himself.
"There is still a long way to go this season with nine games left and we are targeting four wins and a draw to stay up.
"The win against Walsall will give us a lot of belief, but it's going to be a tough game at Bristol Rovers this Saturday, as they are looking to get into the play-offs.
"We haven't got a big squad here and can't make too many changes, so it's obviously a blow to lose Damian Scannell for the rest of the season, as he has been one of our best players.
"Nothing surprises me this year, but we need to carry on in these nine games and look to take our chances.
"We are three games unbeaten and we have to look to take that forward into the Bristol Rovers match.
"They have a strike force which is full of goals, but we will go there looking for the three points."
