Southend United midfielder Alan McCormack is facing a one match ban after being sent off against Hartlepool United.

McCormack was sent off for picking up two yellow cards at Victoria Park.

And now the Irishman will miss this Saturday's important clash with Exeter City at Roots Hall.

He is joined in the stands by fellow midfielder Jean-Francois Christophe who has served one match of his own four game suspension after being sent off against Charlton Athletic last month.
