Southend United have made two changes to the line-up for today's League One encounter at home to Tranmere Rovers.

Pat Baldwin returns to the centre of defence in place of the injured Scott Malone, which will see Adam Barrett make the switch to left-back.

Scott Vernon replaces Scott Spencer to partner Francis Laurent up front, as the Blues look for their first win of 2010.
