Southend United will trial Ashford Town (Middlesex) striker Byron Harrison for their reserve side tomorrow.

Harrison, 21, signed for the Ryman Premier outfit from Harrow Borough in January 2008.

This season the young forward has already bagged 19 goals, having scored 53 career strikes for Ashford during his two-years with the Middlesex outfit.

And the former Havant and Waterlooville player will feature against Colchester United's reserves on Wednesday at Roots Hall (2pm).
