Steve Tilson vented his frustration following Southend United's 2-0 defeat at Millwall.
The Blues chief felt that Millwall's first goal on the stroke of half time should have been disallowed and believes this was a body blow from which the team were unable to recover.
"There is just no way that the first goal should have been allowed," Steve told Blues Player.
"Things are hard enough for us at the moment, without the officials making decisions like that.
"To start off with, there was a blatant foul on Simon Francis out wide and the lad who has scored is offside.
"It was obvious to see and to go 1-0 down was a massive body blow for us.
"I got a phone call at 12:30 to tell me that Francis Laurent's hamstring was sore and that he couldn't play, so that didn't help matters.
"Osei Sankofa then had to come off ill at half time and now Alan McCormack is banned for two matches after picking up his 10th booking.
"Unfortunately, things just don't seem to be going our way right now.
"I couldn't fault the lad's effort and commitment, but the bottom line is, we have a lot of boys out there trying to do a man's job.
