Southend United's recently postponed first team fixture against Walsall has now been rescheduled.

Blues home game against the Saddlers on Saturday, January 9 was called-off 48 hours before kick-off due to a frozen pitch.

However, following consultation between the two sides and the Football League the game has been set for Tuesday, March 23 - kick-off 7.45pm.

Supporters who purchased tickets for the original fixture will still be able to use them for this re-arranged game.

However, if you are unable to attend the new date a full refund can be obtained from the Blues Box Office on production of the match ticket up until Saturday, February 6.

Walsall fans should direct their enquiries to their own ticket office.
