Southend United make one change to the starting XI for today's League One match at Leyton Orient.

Damian Scannell comes into the team in place of Jean-Francois Christophe, as the Blues look to bounce back from the Boxing Day defeat against Colchester United in another local derby this afternoon.

With Steve Mildenhall also ruled out through injury, it means Ian Joyce will line up in goal for his second start of the season.
