Southend United will hand a debut to left-back Scott Malone for tonight's League One trip to Tranmere Rovers.
Malone only signed on loan from Wolves on the day of the game and will replace Johnny Herd, who is ruled out with a hamstring injury.
The second change to the starting XI will see another loanee in centre-back Sean Morrison return from suspension in place of Anthony Grant, who is serving a two-match ban.
