TILSON HOPES FOR FOUR IN A ROW

Posted on: Fri 13 Nov 2009

Southend United boss Steve Tilson hopes to make it four wins in a row at Yeovil Town's Huish Park ground on Saturday.

The Blues chief has won on his last three visits to the West Country club.

And he is keen to heap more misery on Yeovil when his side face the Glovers tomorrow.

"We've done well at Yeovil over the last few years so hopefully we can keep it going this weekend," Tilson told Blues Player.

"They're quite strong at home though so it will be hard and they have got together a strong, athletic side who will certainly test us."

Tilson will welcome back Alan McCormack and Lee Barnard from one match suspensions.

But left-back Johnny Herd is unlikely to travel having injured his hamstring against Gillingham.

"Johnny's hamstring is better than we first thought," he said.

"But I don't think he will be fit to play tomorrow but he won't be out for as long as we thought which is good news because we are short of players."
