The draw for the first round proper of the FA Cup takes place on Sunday afternoon and Southend United are ball number 41.
Blues enter the first stage of the competition again this season and they will eagerly be anticipating who their opponents will be.
Sunday's draw will take place live between 1pm and 1.30pm on ITV 1.
League One and Two enter at this stage, with both the Championship and Premier League not joining the competition until the third round, along with those non-league sides that come through qualifying.
The fourth qualifying round is completed on Saturday afternoon and there is still some local interest in the competition.
Blues Square South outfit Chelmsford City face Stevenage Borough, Grays Athletic will take on Luton Town and Thurrock face a difficult trip to Conference leaders Oxford United.
First round ties are due to take place over the weekend of 7 and 8 November.
