M'VOTO RATED 50/50

Posted on: Fri 16 Oct 2009

Southend United boss Steve Tilson will be hoping to have defender Jean-Yves M'Voto available for tomorrows match with Bristol Rovers.

M'Voto, on loan from Sunderland, has missed the last three weeks with a hip injury.

The Frenchman returned to Roots Hall this week and took part in some of Thursday's training session.

However, the giant centre-back is still rated as 50/50 for the visit of the Pirates.

Should M'Voto miss out it will mean that United could be forced to name either Anthony Grant or Jean-Francois Christophe as makeshift defenders.

Meanwhile, Osei Sankofa faces up to six weeks on the sidelines with a knee injury.

Sankofa is currently suffering from a cartilage problem and will be unavailable for over a month.
