Left-back George Friend is cup tied for tonight's Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with Milton Keynes Dons.

Friend, currently on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers at Roots Hall, has already played in the competition whilst on loan at Millwall earlier this season.

That means that Johnny Herd is likely to earn a recall against Paul Ince's side.

Meanwhile, midfielder Anthony Grant is suspended for the trip to stadium:mk after accumulating five yellow cards this season.

Grant has been handed a one-match ban and will sit out tonight's match in Buckinghamshire.

His absence means that either Lee Sawyer or Jean-Francois Christophe are likely to be recalled to the starting line-up.

Defender Jean-Yves M'Voto is also unavailable as he overcomes a hip injury whilst Damian Scannell is also struggling and may not travel.

Competition rules state that each side must name at least six players in their starting line-up that have played in the most league games this season.

The Johnstone's Paint Trophy also only allows teams to name up to five substitutes and not the seven that are available in the League, Carling Cup and FA Cup.

Supporters are reminded that kick-off is at 7pm, with tickets available on the night for just £6 for adults.
